UppaBaby Ridge Running Buggy Review

UppaBaby is a well respected, premium brand within the buggy market and many friends have UppaBaby buggies for everyday use (we just use a Babyzen Yoyo and Thule Urban Glide 2) which has definitely saved us a lot of space and meant we don’t need 3 buggies (or more!) as many families do.  I typically run 2-3 times a week with the buggy, usually 3-5 miles at a time and often with the dog too (although I imagine this will increase when I stop marathon training). As mentioned, the running buggy I use is the Thule Urban Glide 2, which is a top of the range running buggy that I’ve put well over...

Coros Pace 3 – Kipchoge Edition Review

Coros Pace 3 – Kipchoge Edition Review

I've been a Garmin girl almost since I started running. The first watch I bought was a huge old Garmin that took up most of my wrist and definitely could not be worn at any other time aside from running. I resisted trying a Coros until I could no longer ignore the rave reviews from friends on the battery life, GPS and reliability. This review is my personal opinion of Coros Pace 3, with some...

How To Run The SuperHalfs

 Half Marathon Fuelling Guide

I know far too many runners that don’t fuel during a half marathon, claiming that they ‘don’t need to’. And whilst it’s true that you can get through a 13.1 mile run without taking on extra carbs, you are unlikely to perform at your best and you’re more likely to...

Uplift Oregon 5K Race Recap

A race within a race. As a way of involving both the local community and those travelling to Oregon from out of town to watch the Athletics World Champs, Asics put on a 5K race within the Men's Marathon race. I was kindly gifted a bib to the race. Uplift Oregon 5K...
