What’s going on in London this Week? Best London Marathon Pop Ups
I’m so excited for London Marathon weekend - as my husband jokes, it’s my favourite weekend of the year. But he’s right (and I made him take the weekend off months ago). I’m hosting a shakeout run with Westin London City at 10am on Saturday morning complete with our fave build your own carb box. Plus then we’re hosting a pasta dinner that evening - open to all - would love for you to join us! And for those running the London Marathon, make sure to look out for us at Mile 23.5 on the race course. We'll be decked out in yellow, you can't miss us! ASICS House Where: 1 Kingsland Rd, E2 8AA...

First Impressions of the Adidas Supernova Rise 3
In a world where fast shoes get a lot of attention, the daily trainer often gets overlooked. But in reality, we do most of our mileage in our everyday shoes, the easy miles, the volume, the warm ups/cool downs - the important stuff that makes up the bulk of our training. And yet the carbon plated shoes are the sexy ones. The ones that we google, watch and read reviews religiously before spending our money (and often lots of it) on the latest racers. Some of my favourite shoes are the reliable, comfy, OK my max cush trainers. One of my goals for 2026 is to review and share my...
Sydney Marathon: The 7th Marathon Major
Sydney Marathon ballot opens tomorrow and is the latest marathon to join the World Marathon Majors. The original Six Star medal won't change and they won't be making a 7-star medal, rather waiting for a 9-star option, likely when the two other candidate races (Cape Town and Shanghai) join the fold. It seems that current Six Star Medallists won't get anything at the finish line aside from the standard Sydney Marathon medal which I'm a little disappointed by. I'd love them to reconsider this and offer a clip on for the original Six Star medal. Or an extra t-shirt at the very least (especially...

My Current Running Shoe Rotation
I have a lot of pairs of trainers. Running shoes obviously (both trail and road), casual trainers, shoes for weights, and I’m even considering a pair of Padel shoes to really hit the ‘millennial into fitness’ stereotype (there’s a new padel centre near us that...
ASICS Nimbus 27 Review
I realise I'm really behind with my shoe review posts and have so many more to write/post/share - plus am going to start sharing more YouTube shoe content because honestly I just don't think there are enough female shoe reviewers (currently I look to RuntotheFinish...
Garmin Forerunner 165 Review: Is this the best beginner running watch?
As someone who wears my running watch all day everyday (mostly so I don’t forget to put it back on, plus I like getting the HR and sleep data) I love a watch that doesn’t immediately look like a fitness watch. And the look of the Garmin watches wins every time against...
Adidas Pro 4 Review (from an average runner)
These shoes have been in my cupboard since November waiting for the right moment to put them to a proper test. But you know what they say about not saving your best for best, otherwise you might never use them. I used them for a few workouts before testing them out...
ASICS Novablast 5 Review
I wore a pair of ASICS for my very first marathon, the London Marathon back in 2012. I remember buying the first pair from Sweaty Betty with no clue what I was looking for. Then a second pair from the London ASICS store after having a gait analysis.I’ve loved a lot of...

The Best High Impact Sports Bras for Runners with Big Boobs
Every female runner *should* be running in a high impact sports bra. Research shows just how much your chest tissue moves around when you run and how much damage is caused if you don't have some real support, no matter your size. However, for those of you that have...
Adidas Adizero EVO SL Shoe Review
There aren't many shoes I would run a marathon right out of the box in... OK, that's a bit of a lie, because unless I'm racing for a time, I'm usually willing to put things to the test in pursuit of a good review opportunity. But truthfully there aren't many...
Is the Garmin Venu 3S Good Enough for Marathon Training?
I have worn a number of Garmin watches over the years, from the Forerunners to Fenix models but this was my first time trialling the Venu range (kindly sent by Very.co.uk to test). Garmin Running Smartwatch Venu 3S Running watches range hugely in both price and...
Berlin Marathon 2024 Race Recap
There's a chance that after 15 marathons that I have become a little too relaxed about things, and make interesting decisions...like wearing new shoes on race day, or testing our beetroot loading for the first time. One of those things turned out to be a good...
