I had such an incredible response to my post ‘Putting Yourself Out There‘ and it encouraged me so much to continue organising events, even when I’m fearful of the response. So here is the info for my Henley run.
When: 10am, for 10.15 start Sunday 11th December 2016
Where: Outside Athlete Service, Henley-on Thames
We’ll be offering a 10K route but also a 5K turnaround point, incase you’re not up for a full 6 miles, had a heavy night before or just think it’s too chilly!
It’s free to join, however I’ve linked up with TRIBE running club to raise funds for Unseen UK .
The Freedom Runs are hoping to raise £10,000+ for TRIBE for Good Q4 charity Unseen, a truly inspirational anti-trafficking charity that works to help prevent trafficking in the UK and support the victims of human trafficking.
Someone is trafficked globally every 30 seconds and, in the UK alone, 13,000 people will spend Christmas living in slavery. This needs to stop. Now.
It would be great to know if you want to join us (either comment below or comment on this Facebook event), but feel free to just turn up. There will be post-run mince pies…
Dressing up is optional!
Good Luck – sorry I can’t be there. I’m still working on my 5k goals!
Sounds like fun and it’s a good chance to finally meet up with you 🙂 @iRunSmartPhil
