I’ve just returned from a very relaxing few days in the South of France, where I did approximately nothing. We sat by the pool, read books, played board games, ate fresh croissant, cooked what we thought was steak but turned out to be pork fillet, and drank plenty of wine. Other than that, I did nothing. It was glorious.
While I was doing a whole lot of nothing, my friend Steve was making us all feel guilty by completing this Skipping (Jump Rope) Circuit Workout.
Complete the following circuit two or three time for a 20 or 30min circuit. Rest for a minute between rounds.
1 min Skipping/Jump Rope
1 min mountain climbers
1 min Skipping/Jump Rope
1 min Crunches
1 min Skipping/Jump Rope
1 min Walking Lunges
1 min Skipping/Jump Rope
1 min Squats
1 min Skipping/Jump Rope
1 min Plank
I have to confess, I did NOT complete this workout, only shouted out the exercises, but I will be completing it soon! If you don’t have a skipping rope, you could sub in shuttle runs. Normally I am pretty good at exercising on holiday, but this time I just wasn’t feeling it. So I used the opportunity to make sure I was fully rested before coming home. Do you exercise on holiday or use it as a full on recovery time?
Hope you had a lovely weekend, and if you’re in London, feel free to come to our Sweaty Speed Session tonight in Regent’s Park at 6.30pm! Find out more info here.
