My weekend started with a delicious dinner at my friend Amanda’s house with a group of girls that I’ve been friends with since school. Amanda made the most amazing Chorizo Quinoa Chilli, I think she loosely followed this recipe from Milk Free Mom. Amanda was more than willing to eat hers out of a serving bowl- all the more chilli! We drank a really good wine from Brancott Estate from the Flight range, it’s naturally lighter than a typical New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. With 9% alcohol content and 20% fewer calories, this delightful white wine will probably become one of my favourite tipples this summer.
During dinner the talk somehow turned to Beanie Babies, and how much we loved collecting them as kids! Did you know this jellyfish was called Goochy?! Inappropriate?
Saturday morning began bright and early at Westfield for wedding dress shopping with Leah. Obviously can’t show you photos of her in any dresses just in case, but she found some absolutely stunning numbers, and looked incredible!
After dress shopping, brunch at Giraffe and then watching the England rugby match at Twickenham. We were thrilled that England beat Ireland!
And I saw Sian post this on Facebook and loved it so I thought I’d share it….
I hope you’re having a great weekend. Are you running today/yesterday? When is your next race?
haha love that ecard! Glad you had a fun packed weekend.
