One of my goals on Sunday, when I decided that a PR was probably out of the question, was to get a decent race photo!!

Mission accomplished (ish):

I hate that the official photos from a race are always so overpriced, and actually not very good quality!! I realise they have to take lots of photos so probably have a quick shutter speed, but if they charge nearly £20 for one picture, it should at least be good! I actually bought a photo of Emily and I crossing the marathon finish line last year, and the quality was so so bad, that I haven’t even framed it! Maybe I will anyway, just as a constant reminder of the amazing feeling of crossing the finish line, and to never spend money on a race photo again!

Obviously the first thing I go for as I cross the line is the garmin!

Do you ever buy race pics or do you rely on supporters to catch you in action?
