New York City Marathon

If you follow me on twitter, or tracked me during the marathon, you’ll already know that I achieved a huge PB today.

Although I’d been very vocal about my goal of a sub 4.30 marathon, I’d been a little quieter about my other, more ambitious A and B goals (D is a goal of every race/run!)

Goal A: Sub 4.20

Goal B: Sub 4.24

Goal C: Sub 4.30

Goal D: Don’t poop my pants

I’m pleased to say I achieved all of these goals and then some…

Official time- 4.09.49

Thank you so much for all the messages of support on twitter, text, and facebook. Your support and encouragement helped earn that PB! Full recap tomorrow, I hope!

Proving that hard work pays off – this is so fully deserved. So enjoyed reading about your training, if I can manage my mara training with even half the determination you showed, I know I’ll be okay 🙂

Can’t wait to read about the race!

Tracked you the whole way and was cheering and whooping (at the TV screen which was showing the NYC Marathon, but pretended it was you) every 5k. You totally SMASHED that goal, and then some! Well done chica, you put so much effort into every single mile of training and it paid off – that smile says it all. xx

Congrats to an amazing run and a PB! Awesome.

I’m not sure if you are interested, but I’m going to be in London around Christmas and want to run in Regeant’s Park. Wondered if you would be up to it>
