Monday Motivation and Daily Greatness Journal Giveaway

I love quotes.

I started uploading motivational quotes to instagram on Monday mornings, to help me, and hopefully some of you that follow me would be inspired to have an active, productive, day and week. So began Monday Motivation.

If you have any quotes that you would like to see as part of Monday Motivation, then please email me with the quote or image at charliewatson88@hotmail.co.uk.

Now, how would you like your own bit of Monday Motivation, but on a daily basis? I found these brilliant journals from Daily Greatness at the Om Yoga Show. There is a journal for daily greatness, a yoga journal and my favourite, a training journal.

The training journal is a 12 week diary for a ‘rocking fit body and mind’. It combines a goal planner, food and exercise diary, and inspirational tips for motivation. You can use the journal to document your training, with 8 daily tips for diet, food, workouts, meditation, gratitude, stretching, health reminders and self-awareness. It’s a great way to keep track of your progress and keep yourself accountable.

Oh and it’s beautiful.

The journal threatens to motivate you to

  • make healthier choices
  • become fit, healthy and happy
  • create an awesomely inspired purpose
  • regain your zest for life
  • build discipline
  • live an incredibly healthy lifestyle
  • uncover your blind spots and find solutions to your challenges
  • overcome limiting beliefs and negative thought patterns
  • take action to achieve your dreams
  • overcome self-sabotage
  • move from being the victim of your life to the powerful creator of your life

It would be a brilliant birthday or Christmas present either for yourself or for a friend. Are you training for a marathon? Or triathlon? Or half marathon? Well, Daily Greatness have kindly given me training journals to give away to 3 lucky readers…

To enter to win, tell me your favourite inspirational quote (you can earn another entry by tweeting your quote with this link!) Entries close Sunday 24th 2013.

Mine is ‘One day you won’t be able to do this, today is not that day’.

Monty Python’s “Nobody Expects a Spanish Inquisition.” I know it’s weird, but ever since I heard it used in Sliding Doors as a way to cheer someone up, I started using it as my life mantra. Because seriously, things happens, inquisitions happen, you have to keep positive and live your life.

My favourite quote is something I found on instagram: ‘You can feel sore tomorrow or you can feel sorry tomorrow. You choose’.

its a long one…but I love, love, love it because its so true. When I was jusssst starting out I would look at this all the time.

It will hurt. It will take time. It will require dedication. It will require willpower. You will need to make healthy decisions. It requires sacrifice. You will need to push your body to its max. There will be temptation. But, I promise you, when you reach your goal, it will be worth it

I know the competition is closed but I wanted to share as this in case it inspires other people too – it always spurs me on to try to make as much as possible of my day (including getting out of bed for that horribly cold training run)! “Do what you love. Dream big. Be restless. Sleep Little. Don’t play life safe; dare boldly instead. Live as though you really mean it”. Dean Karnanzes
