Fitness Fashion: H&M Sport

H and M sport

It seems like H&M sport was an overwhelming favourite when I shared my budget fitness gear, so I’ve shared one of my top outfits from their most recent range. I’ve had so many compliments on the jacket in particular, no-one can believe it’s from H&M! They don’t sell their sports ranges in every single shop, but I’ve found it a good selection at the Regent Street, High St Ken, Westfield and Hammersmith stores, and there’s always online.

Unlike some cheaper sports wear, H & M sport doesn’t feel cheap. The seamless tops prevent chafing, the leggings aren’t see-through, and there’s been a lot of attention to detail when it comes to the seams, zip pockets and thumb holes. They’ve also massively expanded the range to include running, skiing, yoga and workout specific ranges, plus accessories. Great for Christmas prezzies and stocking fillers- Tom watch out, you might be receiving a lot of H&M sport in your stocking as they also do some brilliant Men’s kit!

I’ve shared some of my wish list below, and I’m sure there’ll be another ‘drop’ (is that retail speak?) in January to coincide with lots of New Year’s Resolutions!

You’ve reminded me that I wanted to get the jacket. I just looked online and if you sign up for the newsletter you get 25% off one item – even better! Looking forward to it arriving 🙂

Thanks for the tip, I didn’t even know H & M did running gear. Some really nice pieces here though and would definitely be tempted by some of these 🙂

I have a good few pairs of leggings and also a couple of tops and vests, all of which I love and wear regularly! Their kit has a lovely soft handle and washes well too. Their leggings are a particular fav of mine, there’s a great blue/turquoise patterned pair at the moment for £14.99 that I’m lusting over!

I have the jacket and it’s BRILLIANT. But I also bought two pairs of running leggings in a medium (I’m a 12) and found they constantly rolled down when I ran. Had to return them and was a bit gutted. There must be something weird with the sizes, as I am definitely not a small, especially when compared to sporty types.
