Do you get exercise FOMO? ‘Fear of missing out’.  I know I do, and after the response to my tweet, I can see I’m not the only one.

I used to get huge fear of missing out on nights out when I was younger, but now it seems I get FOMO from workouts, exercise classes and most notably races! I mean, I know I can’t do it all. I can’t afford to do it in terms on money, time out of my schedule, not to mention the fact that my poor body wouldn’t cope. Yet I scroll through my twitter feed and bloglovin and feel envious. Envious of the medals earned, the workouts smashed and the eendorphins!

I’ve had to let workouts and running take a little bit of a backseat lately, due to the increased workload of my course as well as some home stresses (our furniture still hasn’t arrived and the flat is in boxes!). That doesn’t make it any easier, wishing I was doing the awesome stuff that friends are doing instead of revising for biology tests.

I’m hoping that making certain events and classes a priority and choosing workouts wisely should help ease my FOMO. I am excited to try Project Fit this Wednesday with some friends and another awesome workout the following week!

I do wonder how people fit it in; doing two a days, attending multiple run clubs and racking up double digit mileage every weekend. Tell me your secrets!!!

Am I the only one with workout FOMO? Or do you get it too? Tried any classes/races recently that I should be envious of or add to my must try list? A super muddy obstacle course is obviously one I am desperate to try!

I have a Crossfit addiction and going there 3 times a week usually takes care of my craving for the Fun and the Challenge. Every time there is fun AND super challenging. As for running, I find I keep entering races but not going because my legs are beat from Crossfit. I guess you can’t have it all 🙂

COMPLETELY agree. I hurt my ankle and had to miss races my friends were in (and that I had signed up for) and am completely bummed. FOMO for sure.
