BIG NEWS: Marathon Training Update

Feb 2, 2017 | Uncategorized | 23 comments

I am about to burst. I could not be more excited.

You know how upset, disappointed and gutted I was when my Tokyo marathon plans fell through in December. I wrote all about what happened in this blog post.

Well, it turns out the London marathon won’t be my only spring race this year….

I’m going to be running the BOSTON MARATHON in April with Adidas.

I have a whole blog on my thoughts on running Boston before I qualify, because it is something I thought long and hard about, however running Boston 2017 keeps me on track to accomplish my goal to run all the Marathon Majors before I’m 30, something I didn’t think I could do or afford if I had to run Tokyo and Boston in the same year.

There’s 12 weeks to go before Patriot’s Day… better get hill training.

Congrats! That’s AMAZING- I can’t wait to follow your journey. It’s still on my running goal list. Sadly I missed a BQ time by less than 1 minute this year. Someday i’ll get there!

Congrats! Remember…right on Hereford, left on Boylston!

I live in downtown Boston (and ran the marathon back in 2012). It’s such an incredible weekend here. I’ll be cheering you on!
