When Ashley and I were planning our weekend in London, swimming was high on the agenda. I’ve got my first triathlon next weekend and Ashley’s completing her first Tri in Geneva in July. Instead of a Parkrun on Saturday morning, we walked through Chiswick (via Starbucks after a rather upsetting solid milk moment) to the local pool.
Ashley recommended we complete a modified version of Caitlin’s swimming workout.
Rest as needed during this workout, about 10-20 seconds at the end of each set. You could also half or double each set for an easier/harder workout as required!
Sadly about halfway through our workout they took the lanes away and it became family pool splash! It became a bit of an obstacle course, with kids and floats, and diving toys.
After our workout we met up with my friend Char for brunch at High Road House on Chiswick high road- swimming makes me even hungrier than running!
