I completed this hill workout at the gym last night and was a sweaty mess by the end of it! It felt like a brilliant workout though, and had enough walking breaks to allow me to power through the incline runs. Feel free to scale back on speeds to make this an awesome walking incline workout. I highly recommend incline walking workouts to those that don’t run or can’t run but still want to get a good sweat on- remember no holding on to the sides of the treadmill!
I’m having to do a lot of my hill workouts on the treadmill as I don’t live that near any hilly running routes, but I’m planning on tackling Richmond Park’s hills soon! I need to be prepared for the bridges and hills of New York!
As you can see, I’m just getting the hang of using Picmonkey to make my treadmill workouts a little prettier but I’m not a pro yet (hence wonky incline line) but I love the selection of autumnal wallpapers. This print makes me think of Pumpkin Spiced Lattes- which I am so glad are back in Starbucks, and soon to be in WholeFoods apparently!
Great job! Being a Georgia runner hills are part of are everyday run. Work on those hills and then once you hit a flat course you will be a baller (or is it balla?) whatever, youll kick ass.

Thanks, I hope so!
Can’t wait to try this workout next week! I’m going to West Virginia to visit my grandmother and the runs are always more challenging because of the hills (they call them hills, I call them mountains). Hopefully after doing this workout, I’ll see some imporovement on my runs during the next visit!
Brilliant, hope you get on well with it! It’s a toughie!
Wow- that was tough. Thanks for sharing
