I used a 4kg weight for the Chest Fly’s, and a 10kg kettlebell for the Single Arm Bent Over Row and Kettlebell Swings. Feel free to use a lighter or heavier weight as necessary. You can also reduce the plank to 30-45 seconds if you like. The idea with a superset is to complete both exercises before resting.
Earlier on in the day I had met up with the lovely Sophie, for ‘lunch’ at our favourite chocolate cafe. She’s recently moved to Chamonix, and although I love hearing about their adventures over there via text and instagram, it was great to catch up properly…over cake, obviously. Perhaps this is why I’m Fit Not Thin! Actually, all jokes aside, this is a brilliant article on Sophie’s blog about the Fit Not Thin campaign, and if you like that, you may also enjoy this blog post about the Hypocrisy of the Women’s Fitness Magazines.
What are your thoughts on the Fit Not Thin debate? And randomly, but just as important, what is your favourite type of cake?
Fit > Thin for sure! And I love most cakes, especially German Chocolate 🙂
YUM!
That cake!! I definitely prefer fit not thin- I’m not going to begin my rant as it would go on for a very loooooong time. Also great arm work-out, I’m not a gym member at the p moment so do t have access to weights but this looks like a killer.
Completely with you on that debate!
For years, my answer would have been thin… and on some days it still is, not gonna lie. I am slowly but surely inching my way towards the fit end of the debate spectrum – I will get there one day, promise!! As for cake (oh glorious cake!), my fave would have to be peanut butter cup cheesecake (pack as much fat as possible, please).
